1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AI Photo Check, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Service Description

AI Photo Check is a free service that analyzes images using multiple detection methods to help determine content authenticity and detect AI-generated images. Our analysis methods include:

  • C2PA Verification: Checks for Content Provenance standard metadata
  • ML-Based Detection: Uses Hugging Face transformer models trained on AI-generated images
  • Semantic Analysis: Detects logical inconsistencies in image content
  • Biometric Analysis: Analyzes human features for AI artifacts using MediaPipe
  • Lighting Validation: Validates physical lighting consistency
  • Compression Analysis: Detects JPEG compression anomalies
  • PRNU Analysis: Sensor fingerprint detection for camera identification
  • GAN Fingerprint: Detects checkerboard patterns and artifacts from AI generators
  • Edge Sharpness: Analyzes edge transition patterns
  • Texture Analysis: LBP-based texture pattern detection
  • Frequency Analysis: Examines DCT spectrum patterns typical of AI generation
  • Statistical Analysis: Pixel value distribution patterns
  • Chromatic Aberration: Lens aberration pattern analysis
  • Micro Texture: Micro-level surface texture patterns
  • Color Palette: Color distribution and palette analysis
  • Gradient Analysis: Edge pattern detection
  • Noise Pattern: Analyzes noise uniformity differences between real and AI images
  • Metadata Analysis: Inspects EXIF data and software signatures

3. Free and Paid Plans

AI Photo Check offers both free and paid tiers:

  • Free Tier: Each user is allowed up to 10 AI image checks (LLM-powered analysis) at no cost. Usage is tracked by IP address for anonymous users and by account for registered users. This count is cumulative and does not reset when images are deleted.
  • Unlimited Plan ($5/month): Registered users may subscribe to the Unlimited Plan for unrestricted access to all AI image detection features. The subscription is billed monthly via PayPal.

4. Payment and Billing

Subscription payments are processed securely through PayPal. By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Authorize recurring monthly payments of $5 USD via your PayPal account
  • Provide accurate and complete billing information
  • Be responsible for all charges incurred under your account

Prices are in US Dollars (USD). PayPal may apply currency conversion fees for non-USD accounts. We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Dashboard or directly through PayPal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access until then.
  • No Partial Refunds: We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-cycle, you will continue to have access until the end of that period.
  • PayPal Disputes: If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us before opening a PayPal dispute so we can resolve the issue promptly.

6. Use of Service

You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Attempt to bypass any service limitations
  • Use the service to infringe on others' intellectual property
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code

7. Accuracy Disclaimer

While we strive for accuracy using multiple detection methods, our analysis may not detect all AI-generated or manipulated content. Results should not be considered definitive proof of authenticity. Each detection method has its own accuracy rate, and the final verdict is based on weighted ensemble analysis.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of any images you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to process the image for analysis purposes only. Images are not used for training AI models.

9. Limitation of Liability

AI Photo Check is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on analysis results.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
