EXIF data is most commonly found in JPEG/JPG and TIFF files. HEIC/HEIF files (used by iPhones) also contain EXIF. PNG files can contain some metadata but not standard EXIF. WebP has limited metadata support. RAW camera files (CR2, NEF, ARW) contain extensive EXIF data.
